Songwriter

Roger Ramsey is a western-country songwriter based out of the smoky hills of Tennessee, by way of the Northeastern river lands. Working alongside Packhorse outfitters in Wyoming, Ramsey doesn’t just write about the American West, he lives and works on the land. Even now, Ramsey lives the stories he writes while traveling across the American prairies as a mountain guide, horseman, and cook. He was a finalist in the 2023 Tennessee Songwriter’s Contest, and has worked with acts like Amythyst Kiah, Jon Langston, Camp Howard, Adam Bolt, and Boy Named Banjo.
